It might be of interest that the Swedish Heraldry Society is about to publish the first 200 arms registered in the Swedish Register of Arms. All arms will be illustrated and presented with blazons in both Swedish and English!

The book can be ordered here: http://heraldik.tictail.com/product/the-swedish-register-of-arms-1-200-pre-order-for-customers-outside-sweden

That’s going to be an interesting read, thanks Claus.

Hmmm… Looking at the example provided, the third arms in the lower right has the incorrect blazon for the crest. In fact, the blazon is for the crest on the opposite page. I hope the rest of the book is free from such errors.

This also was noted in a different forum; Claus clarified that the image was just a mock-up to show the way it would look.

As Mike said, this is just a dummy. The book hasn’t gone to the printers yet, and there is still one or two rounds of checking for mistakes to be done.

Ah - "Swedish Heraldry for Dummies"??  (Sorry- couldn’t help myself.  For those overseas, " [insert topic] for Dummies" is a series of basic introductions to everything from the latest Windows operating system, to the Bible.)
