The arms have been finalized and registered with USHR here (application to be included in the AHS members’ armorial pending). Many thanks to everyone who commented and especially Fr. Byers.

I noted in the USHR cert. that your arms had two leaves to the bean sprout, while your avatar only shows one leaf.  Is that a design variation, or a preference requiring an update of your avatar?

I believe it’s design variation as the blazon is "leaved".

The intention is that it is a matter of artistic interpretation.

FWIW the avatar version, with one leaf is more compelling than the more symmetrical but IMO less visually interesting two-leaf version.  (Had I never seen the avatar, I would like the two-leaf version well enough, so I’m not saying its unattractive; merely that IMO the avatar is the better of the two.)

But then they’re your arms, so yours is the vote that counts!
