Superbly rendered Jeff! I’m delighted. Thank you very, very much.
So glad you are liking it Richard!
Probably should be noted that I went with early heraldic style for the semy being that the charges are larger to fill the space and there are only seven of them. I did this since others have already done your arms in later period style with the cut-from-cloth design and more numerous charges.
I wanted to mention this since some people are only familiar with later period semy patterns and this does not match with those.
The nails of course are not medieval style nails (typically having sloped heads) as I wanted them to be more iconic.
So anyhow, just wanted to throw some explanations as to what lay behind the thought process.
I actually prefer this early style Jeff with the least number possible for a semy, making the charge conspicuous. I’m very much looking forward to seeing it since I’m almost certain, the photo doesn’t do the plaque the justice it deserves.

Jeff,
I love the early "semy" design you have!
Thanks for the support fella’s! Been slow going lately :snail: , but I’m picking up the pace rapidly due to a return of inspiration/motivation :shootout: . On Richard’s I am applying a layer of varnish each day to be able to sand it down to a smooth finish (all the way down to itty bitty 600 grain) as I do for all of these, so the surface looks "rough" right now from the reflection of the light, but the end result should be nearly glass finish with only slight scouring noticeable here and there if you look at it with an electron microscope (haha, no not quite).

I don’t know if real artists run into this problem, but I almost loathe to try and paint if I don’t feel like I am going to do my best work and sometimes it makes me postpone until I feel like my mojo has returned. Anyone else relate to this wierd issue, or is it just me? LOL!
Conquergood arms basecoated on the shield portion… we’re gettin’ there, see? LOL

Jeff, in my experience, most artists get a "block" from time to time. I’ts normal and common.
I’m awfully impressed Jeff. Thank you so much.
I suspect everyone has periods when creative motivation seems to have taken off and gone walkabout. Rather than fret, I suggest you take your time and enjoy the break.
Yes I have that problem to and it can take quite a while sometimes.

I’m not a real artist ... but I cannot work on my stuff unless "the spirit" is with me—which my wife just cannot fathom. (Secretly, I think she’s a robot.) "Why do you need to feel like it? Just do it!" sayeth She Who Must Be Obeyed.
meh .........
