I have come across something that I wonder how it would be blazoned. It is a bastion fortification. Something like this perhaps?
a pentagon, fortified with bastions, a point to chief, Or.
Any thoughts?
No time to check now, but I suspect you might find an example or two on the TIOH (US Army’s Intitute of Heraldry) website, with hopefully a useful blazon to draw from.
TIOH blazons this, in the arms of the 16th Infantry Regiment, as "a five-bastioned fort."

Why didn’t I think of checking there. I was just looking at it the other night and when I asked the question, I didn’t even think about it. But thank you for suggesting it and also to Mr. McMillan for posting a few examples. :D
