St. Sebastian is the Patron Saint of archers.  Seems like he’d be the Patron Saint of innocent victims!  smile

The Arrow/Arrows is the attribute of St. Sebastian and is also seen in the chief of the School’s arms.

Yes, I saw that.  But myself being a rather poor archer (English longbow, single-stave yew) .... and St. Sebastian being my patron Saint .... I always mused how inappropriate it seemed for the victim to be the patron saint to the profession who martyred him.

 

Sort of like a frying pan being a good luck symbol for chickens LOL
