Okay I wanted to get my Alma Matter’s school up here during "That School up North" ‘s week. So here’s the best picture I can find:
The blazon, as best I can get, should be :Gules, Inside an argent annulet an open book. In base a buckeye and leaves proper
(You have no idea how hard it was for me to use Gules and Argent instead of scarlet and grey. The annulet should be grey, but the way the website is set up makes it black.)

I think its the following: Arms: Gules an open book Or inside an annulet Grey, overall in base a sprig of buckeye (Aesculus glabra) leaved and fructed of two Proper. Crest: A pyramid Or. Motto: Education for Citizenship
You’re probably right, my blazoning skills still are fairly unpolished
Here is a better view of the arms, the view that most students remember….

I think the University of Michigan’s looks more properly heraldic, but that has nothing to do with the upcoming game…

Blasphamy (at least this week)
I think it’s an older one; not sure when the change took place, but I’ve seen this in older sources.
