Hey everyone!

While searching for information about the coat of arms of Liechtenstein, I came upon this extremely nice rendition of the arms

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/ba/Wappen_Souveränes_Fürstentum_Liechtenstein.png

I found a link to armorials of the Austro Hungarian and German Empires.

http://www.hot.ee/wappenrolle/German Empire

http://www.hot.ee/wappenrolle/prov.htmlthe Prussian Provinces

http://www.hot.ee/wappenroll1/ung.htmlthe Hungarian Comitaten (Counties? Provinces?)

http://www.hot.ee/wappenroll1/erz.htmlArms of the Austrian Imperial Erzherzoge (Archdukes?)

Well, I will leave you all to browse it! Strohl’s work is just so nice, and symbolizes to me, at least, the heraldic ideal! Hassan also once posted a depiction of the Egyptian Khedivial Arms by Strohl.

If there was an artist who can render arms like that, I would pay however much it would cost to get my arms done by them. 8)

Mohamed,

Great find!  The ermine in the robe you displayed is awesome!  Strohl’s artwork is beautiful.  Thanks for sharing.  :D

Take care,
