A set of Scottish Arms more akin to my roots and preferred style.  Special thanks to John Duncan of Sketraw.

I’ll just ditto everything I’ve ever said about your work.  smile  Once again, a beautiful piece.  I really love the sense of movement you get from the crest.  The waves of the ocean and the waving of the flags really make it feel like the boat is sailing along.  Wonderful!

Andy, in my opinion, you are one of the very best heraldic artists alive today! Each time I see your work, I am amazed at the creativity, depth, and detail that you habitually demonstrate. Lord Sketraw, I am certain, is indeed forunate to have a "Jamieson" as the crown jewel of his heraldic collection. I can’t wait to have my own full-colour Jamieson… Its so good to see you expressing your creativity through other people’s armorial bearings. I love the diversity of the medium. Wonderful!

The quality is a given and I think much of the admiration can go without saying. That said, however, I particularly like the choice of color for the reverse of the motto scroll and your choice of purple for helmet lining.

I can’t wait to tell John he’s been given a peerage.

Another wonderful rendering, Andrew!  (As for you, Sketraw, your own tartan and a Jaimeson to hang on the wall?  We’re green with envy, John!  Slainte!)

A Jamieson on the wall and a Jameson on the side table?

Outstanding.  I really like the helm, the purple is nice but the silver/grays of the helm are very nice.

Once again I’m seeing gorgeous artwork from Andrew.  I am beginning to feel left out not being part of the Jamieson Club.  I think I will join next year…  wink

Is that a cut out of a thistle in the helmet?  What a great touch.

I really should hurry up with my studies so I can start saving (even) more money up for emblazons… A Jamieson would be nice to have in the collection… smile
