Greetings,

I need some guidance.

How do I obtain a black and white line drawing or a ‘camera ready’ image that I can use when ordering products such as a seal, engraved glass, etc.

I imagine this has been covered in another thread…can someone direct me?

Best,

Rob

hi rob. didn’t the artist you commissioned do that for you? if not ask him and see if he can render a b&w of the achievement. then take that to an engraver etc, as i’ve read here that people can use their machines at those shops to make them perfectly suitable for letterheads, rings, etc.

Well what I do, is I copy the image and paste it into microsoft word. When you click on the image there should be a little toolbar thtat pops up. Click on the image of a "color scale" and click on "Black and White" then click on the arrows to make it lighter, darker.

Thought this will usually make an image with very sloppy and thick lines. So what I then do, is just format the image to washout (one of the choices besides black and white) print it out, go over it with a drawing pen (thin tipped ones work best) and then scan it, and "Black and White" that one.

Hope I was of help to ya!

Thank you both.

Denny, I will follow with the artist.

Mohamed, nice tip…I did not know about that option.

Best Regards,
