Alright so I was playing around with your newly suggested idea, as well as the idea of having a curved divider.

I really like that design. I have printed it out and put it up to look at for a while.

The blue part almost looks like a bikini top…...you can see where my head is:D
I suppose I can see that…though I don’t think I ever would’ve thought of it on my own . It’s a true man’s coat of arms I suppose :p
Crossed Keys = DO NOT ENTER !
Unless you have the key…muwahahaha
Crossed keys are not necessarily, but nearly universally, seen as a reference to St. Peter. Just something to think about.
Oh really? What’s that? I have a hunch but I’m curious.

I was thinking the same thing.
The Late Peter Bander van Duren (30 July 1930 - 21 April 2004) also has cross keys in his crest (i.e., crowned demi-lion holding crossed keys), but I believe this is to reinforce his devout Roman Catholic background. What’s not clear is whether the keys were an augmentation from the Church.
Is Mr. Eskew a devout Roman Catholic as well or does he have a special affinity for St. Peter? If not but he still wishes to have keys, then perhaps keys in another configuration might be appropriate. The arms of Guy Stair Sainty reveal another possibility. See: http://www.scotarmigers.net/ssagallery/displayimage.php?album=15&pos=7, but then again Guy is also a devout Roman Catholic… Is anyone aware of arms containing crossed keys where the armiger is not a Roman Catholic?

I am not Roman Catholic nor have any affinity for St. Peter I was curious to what the crossed keys did stand for. I thought they stood for something though I was not completely sure of what. I really like the keys though.

Just a little general suggestion!
I like frank’s emblazon - although we kind of lose the idea of canting eskew = askew. If that’s not important… cool.

I’m just not a fan of that one, but I can’t put my finger on why.

Thanks for the example. Still the crossed keys seem to allude to St. Peter, albeit here in an Anglican context.
I like how the Argent border of the lapels of the school jackets matches with the Argent border on the arms. Talk about consistent branding!

agree…. it’s kind of "bla"
.........and it isn’t mine
, just wanted to point out
that "minuscule" should be avoided!
Therefor I adjusted "his" emblazon/idea !
Maybe I missed it, but what was the reason for the key(s)? I think part of the problem I’m having is a duck and keys don’t really flow to me. Duck, and cat-tails, now that makes more sense. But then of course you might end up looking like you have a coat of arms designed by Ducks Unlimited :D
