I agree that #3 is my favorite of the group, also. However, beware of "herladry by committee", because you won’t be able to please everyone and what the committee likes best may not be at all what you like. Just my 2¢.

Yes - with so many folks favoring #3, don’t feel peer pressured into Arms you don’t want. Remember to take the refrigerator test!

Firstly, we aren’t talking to the prospective armiger. Snyder is designing arms for someone else, so while good advice….
Secondly, for the love of Pete, don’t talk him out of adopting the best arms in the bunch. #3 is far and away the best design of the bunch or, frankly, of any of the other offerings in this thread.

.... Aaaaand… that’s why I shouldn’t join a thread late.

I still prefer this one.

Agreed, that is a very nice compositon. I also think the "St Hubertus" motif—replacing the crucifix with a cross raguly—would be nice.

I also like #3 from post 23 above. My only thought would be to simplify the field from the current "barry of ten wavy Azure and Argent" to something like "Argent three bars wavy Azure". The green pile and the reference to Saint Hubertus of Liège is great!!
Strongly 2nd Steven’s last comment—the barry wavy is IMO a bit too "busy" & a simpler version—3 bars wavy, or even better two bars wavy, should be an improvement.
