The first Design Award of 2006 is awarded to The Governor John R. Rogers High School JROTC in Puyallup, Washington, for its shoulder loop insignia. The arms were designed by Mr. Joseph Spollen of The Institute of Heraldry at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. They were approved by the Institute on 13 January 1999. The colors blue, light blue and white are the school’s colors, the ram is the school mascot, and the mountains represent Mt. Rainer which can be seen from the school.
